Social Media
I use social media in my marketing campaigns as a cost-effective, yet powerful tool for brand awareness, storytelling, and community building.
Short-form Video
Short form video content has taken over as the preferred digital content experience by many social media users. By introducing story-driven videos to my campaign with the City of San Marcos, we've seen an increase in online engagement, followers, and brand awareness.
Reuse at the River Campaign
The City of San Marcos Parks and Recreation Department needed help with a community education campaign for their new "Can ban" river policy.
By using vibrant images that highlight policy-approved beverage containers and enforcement zones, we helped our residents understand the new rules and restrictions for visiting the San Marcos River.
5-Star Reviews Video Series
This series features San Marcos entrepreneurs reacting to real 5-star reviews of their business. The goal of the campaign was to celebrate small businesses and highlight the impact of positive customers reviews during the COVID-19 pandemic. These videos were featured at the Texas Historical Commission's 2021 conference.
Downtown SMTX New Biz Alert Series
The New Biz Alert series showcased newly opened businesses in downtown San Marcos. This campaign remains on of the highest engaged social media series since it's conception on 2019.
I approached this series with the intention of helping local business owners tell their stories while featuring their unique impact to the downtown community.
